All Shall Perish Diskografia

All Shall Perish

All Shall Perish is a quintet deathcore band from Oakland, California formed in 2002. All Shall Perish combines various genres, including death metal, deathgrind, metalcore, and sludge metal. Since 2005, All Shall Perish have delivered two records off of Nuclear Blast. The debut album, Hate, Malice, Revenge, was originally released by Japanese record label Amputated Vein Records in 2003. In 2005, it was re-released by Nuclear Blast and since then has received mostly underground acclaim. In 2006, The Price of Existence was released to largely positive critical reaction. The first single, "Eradication", was made into a video and is played on MTV2's Headbanger's Ball.
Guitarist Caysen Russo and vocalist Craig Betit only appear on the band's first studio album, they were both replaced, respectively, with Chris Storey and Hernan "Eddie" Hermida by the time of their second release.
The band has commented on a follow up to The Price of Existence, and in an interview mentioned, "After The Big Booty Business tour All Shall Perish will find itself writing its third full length album on Nuclear Blast Records. We are looking to have it out by next August/September".

Emarosa Diskografia

Emarosa

Emarosa is a 6-piece post-hardcore band from Lexington, Kentucky. They have released an EP, entitled This Is Your Way Out, recorded and produced by Joey Sturgis. Emarosa was originally signed to Standby Records but due to releasing troubles with their EP they signed to Rise Records alongside bands such as Drop Dead, Gorgeous, Before Their Eyes, The Devil Wears Prada, At the Throne of Judgment, and Catherine. They were originally named Corsets Are Cages, but changed to their current name about a month before they released their EP. During the Corsets Are Cages era, they were originally a 4-piece post-hardcore band. They then got rid of 2 members and picked up 4 more. Chris Roberts and Mike Bryant were the only original members until Mike Bryant left the band to join another band called Gwen Stacy (who currently left Gwen Stacy as of 2007). Chris Roberts departed, then joining The Revival Sound. Chris Roetter replaced Roberts in Emarosa. Then guitarist that replaced Mike Bryant, Madison, recently quit Emarosa which now Jonas of At Daggers Drawn replaced him on guitar.
Emarosa has toured with the bands Fiora, akissforjersey, Before Their Eyes, and The Wedding.
Jonny Craig (Formally vocalist of Dance Gavin Dance) is now the vocalist for the band, replacing Chris Roetter. They have a new album being released soon, entitled Relativity.

Alexisonfire Diskografia

Alexisonfire

Alexisonfire is a five-piece post-hardcore band that formed in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada in 2001. The band consists of George Pettit (lead vocals), Dallas Green (rhythm guitar, lead vocals), Wade MacNeil (lead guitar, vocals), Chris Steele (bass), and Jordan Hastings (drums).

The band describes their music as "the sound of two Catholic high-school girls in mid-knife-fight" (a reference to their song "A Dagger Through the Heart of St. Angeles", which was also the inspiration for their album cover art). This management of good-versus-evil style of music and writing is unique to the band. When the band came out of the underground like an "utterly captivating car-accident-in-progress" in late 2001, it was enough to impress critics[4] and attain a gold certification for their self-titled debut album.

Aside from that, the band has released two more successful albums: Watch Out! in 2004, and Crisis in 2006, both which have achieved platinum certification in Canada. The band toured in support of Crisis, until December 2007. From there they took a break over Christmas, and will soon begin writing a new album.

Origins and mainstream success: 2001–2003
Alexisonfire was formed in late 2001 as the result of a three-band break up. Pettit was playing bass in a tech-metal band called Condemning Salemn, Green was a lead singer and guitar player in Helicon Blue, and MacNeil and Steele played in a Pop-punk band called Plan 9. These bands broke up at the same time, and those remaining members still had the drive to play and succeed. They got together, recruited Ingelevics, and formed Alexisonfire. The band's name was derived from Alexis Fire, the world's only lactating contortionist stripper. This caused problems when she discovered that they were using her website name as their band name, and she threatened to sue the band for copyright infringement. However, it was discovered that the moniker was not registered, and no further action took place. The band released its first EP, Math Sheet Demos in 2002, so named because the CD was wrapped in former drummer Jesse Ingelevics' math homework. The group caught its first break when they caught the attention of recording engineer Greg Below and Montreal journalist Mitch Joel. The pair were setting up a record label called Distort Entertainment at the time, and coincidentally they were looking for artists. Below was working with EMI at the same time and he used this to record the band at the company's in-house studio and land them a co-publishing and distribution deal.

On September 9, 2002, Alexisonfire was released, featuring two Catholic school girls engaged in a knife fight, which goes in hand with the band's description of their music. Although there was a distribution deal with EMI, the album's success was mostly attributed to word-of-mouth. The band proceeded to tour support their album, crossing Canada twice, and begin stepping into the United States and European scenes, playing with Billy Talent, GWAR, Juliana Theory, Godsmack, and Glassjaw. The band was starting to become more of a full-time job than a hobby.[10] In the end, Alexisonfire was certified gold in Canada, marking 50,000+ sales.

Watch Out!: 2004–2005
Alexisonfire had attracted considerable attention from major record labels, thanks to the solid success of their self-titled debut. However, when they started considering making a second album, the band felt that, for artistic reasons, they should remain independent, as it would give them better chances of developing and deciding their direction. They would remain with Distort Entertainment, and instead of using a famous producer, they recorded the album with Julius Butty at his studio near Hamilton, Ontario.

Watch Out! was released on June 29, 2004, and was immediately successful. It debuted at #6 on the Nielsen Soundscan Top 200, and received gold certification in Canada in twelve weeks. The good critical reception came from the fact that the band was more focused from the eighteen months of touring, helping them harness more aggression, release more emotion, and fine-tune all the tracks. This lay in comparison to their debut album, which was mostly first drafts.
“I think if you do it long enough, then you get better at it. You're on the road a lot and you just get better. Also, we had a great producer, Julius Butty. We learned what we like to play. We're no longer virgins to the studio. We're just not quite the band we were a long time ago.”

—George Pettit, MusicEmissions.com interview

While touring in support of the album with Johnny Truant and The Blood Roses in Glasgow, Scotland in October 2005, each member of all three bands had the word "Yeti" tattooed on themselves. On an episode of the MuchMusic program The New Music, Pettit and Green revealed that the inspiration for their "Yeti" tattoos came from the 1988 Gary Oldman film The Firm.

Crisis: 2006–present

On August 22, 2006 the band released their third studio album, Crisis, which All Music Guide considered their best to date.[14] The album was marked with a CD release party, where the band performed on a boat in London, England. In support of the album, the band toured across most of Canada with Every Time I Die, Cancer Bats and Attack in Black; the latter was signed to the band's independent label Dine Alone Records. Immediately following that was an American tour with Moneen, Cancer Bats, and A Change of Pace.

In a recent interview, vocalist George Pettit states that he is unaware of the direction that the band will head in for their next album, but that "The next record, I think, is us pretty much wanting to put the knife in screamo. I don't want to be the band that saves it, I want to be the band that kills it."

Though they are usually on tour with Anti-Flag, Norma Jean was their replacement for a shortwhile, however Anti-Flag is now back with them, alongside the bands Saosin, and The Bled.

Bury Your Dead Diskografia

Bury Your Dead

Bury Your Dead is a five-piece hardcore/metalcore band that hails from Worcester, Massachusetts, United States.

Formed in 2001, Bury Your Dead began as a side project of the band Hamartia featuring Brendan "Slim" MacDonald (guitar) and Mark Castillo (Drums). With the metalcore sound of Hamartia growing tiresome to both Slim and Mark, they started writing less technical songs in their free time. They recruited Rich Casey (formerly of Groundzero) to play bass and Joe Krewko as vocalist and began playing shows in Massachusetts and Connecticut under the name Bury Your Dead. News of their unbridled energy and destructive live show spread immediately around the East Coast hardcore scenes and the band was courted by Alveran/Eulogy Records.

The band recorded and released their debut album titled You Had Me At Hello in March of 2002, borrowed a van, then toured in support of it. After several successful tours Bury Your Dead decided to go their separate ways - Mark (drums) moved back to Philadelphia and began touring with Between The Buried And Me, Rich (bass) went back to running his own screen-printing business, and Slim (guitar) began playing guitar in the band Blood Has Been Shed.

After several months had passed, Rich Casey contacted Slim and expressed his interest in reforming Bury Your Dead. They rounded up some of their old lineup, with a few others to fill in, and played some shows before heading down to Florida to play the annual Gainesville Fest. They ran into their old drummer, Mark, who was touring with Between The Buried And Me, and they discussed their desire to make Bury Your Dead a serious band again. Mark agreed, and the band did a few short tours as well as appearances at hardcore festivals including Hellfest and Metalfest. To the original core of Slim, Rich, and Mark they added Mat Bruso on vocals and a second guitarist, Eric Ellis (formerly of Floridian band Reflux). Bury Your Dead was back and stronger than ever.

With their lineup in place Bury Your Dead was approached by Victory Records in July of 2003 and they signed a deal with the label the following winter. Bury Your Dead spent the next several months touring and when summer approached they holed up in Massachusetts and did nothing but eat, sleep, and breathe the new Bury Your Dead songs, which would comprise their Victory Records debut titled Cover Your Tracks. "The whole writing process this time around was a lot different than the last", said Slim. "We had so many ideas floating around in our heads, so we decided to shut out the outside world and do nothing but get these ideas put together into songs. Literally, for two weeks, we did nothing else but write Cover Your Tracks. They finally entered the studio in June of 2004, choosing to record at Q-Division studios in Somerville, MA with producer Matthew Ellard. "Recording with Matthew was great, he added so much to the record", notes Slim. "It was also nice that Matthew already knew Mark from his days in Between The Buried And Me, so it was a really comfortable feeling in the studio right off the bat."

On July 24, 2005, rapper/actor Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith made a surprise guest appearance on stage and rapped/jammed with Bury Your Dead during the last song of the band's set at Ozzfest 2005 at the Nissan Pavillion in Bristow, Virginia.[1] The performance met with mixed reactions from members of the crowd and fans, but was overall well-received. Pinkett Smith's band Wicked Wisdom toured with Bury Your Dead at Ozzfest that year.

Aaron "Bubble" Patrick replaced Casey on bass. Produced by Jason Suecof (Trivium, God Forbid), Beauty and the Breakdown appeared in July 2006. Around this time the quintet could be found on artist Derek Hess' nationwide Strhess Tour, alongside acts like Shadows Fall, Poison the Well, and Throwdown.

In January 2007, vocalist Mat Bruso left the band to focus on "more important things like going back to school to become a teacher."

Soon after in March 2007, Michael Crafter, former vocalist for I Killed the Prom Queen and Carpathian, briefly took over vocal duties for part of the "Don't Call It A Comeback Tour", only to leave during the tour to return to Australia due to homesickness[4].

Following the departure of Crafter, Bury Your Dead quickly appointed Myke Terry, previously of the hardcore band Cassius, to perform vocals.

It was announced that Myke had become the permanent vocalist of Bury Your Dead.

The band has entered on tour with Nonpoint, Machine Head, and Hellyeah on the "More Balls, More Volume, More Strength Tour".

On February 16, 2008, while on tour with Hellyeah, Bury Your Dead guitarist Eric Ellis was attacked and beaten following a show in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ellis received 19 stitches on his head and BYD's tour was postponed.

On March 18, Bury Your Dead released their self titled album. It is the first album to feature Myke Terry on vocals.

Misery Signals Diskografia

Misery Signals

Misery Signals is a metalcore/mathcore band formed in Wisconsin in 2002. The sound of their music is defined by bright melodies backed up by odd time signatures, heavy riffs and breakdowns. They are known in the metalcore scene for their musicianship and energetic live shows.

History
Misery Signals was formed after the break-ups of several bands, those bands being 7 Angels 7 Plagues, Hamartia and Compromise. Having played temporarily with 7 Angels 7 Plagues, former Compromise vocalist Jesse Zaraska was approached by Ryan Morgan and Kyle Johnson for a new project, which would become Misery Signals. Jeff Aust from Hamartia at that point filled out the lineup on second guitar, and Ryan Morgan's brother Branden took the drums. Aust soon left the band and has since gone on to join With Honor, he was replaced by Stu Ross - a friend of Jesse Zaraska's from Edmonton, Alberta.

The band eventually signed to New Jersey's Ferret Music, releasing their first full-length album, Of Malice and the Magnum Heart. After extensive touring, Zaraska decided to leave the band to focus on a smaller, less aggressive project named Sleeping Girl, at which point the rest of the band decided to put up an instrumental song on their MySpace page, encouraging anyone who wanted to take over the spot of vocalist to record their own voice over the instrumental and e-mail it to the band. This was the way they found new vocalist Karl Schubach, with whom they recorded their album,Mirrors. Misery Signals have finished recording songs for their new album due to be released July 22nd, 2008 entitled Controller. The album is being recorded by Devin Townsend and released by Ferret Music.

Touring
Misery Signals has been on notable tours with Eighteen Visions, Fear Before the March of Flames, Norma Jean, All That Remains, I Killed The Prom Queen, The Human Abstract, Between the Buried and Me, Bleeding Through, Zao, Darkest Hour, The Chariot, Straight Reads The Line, Means and Shai Hulud. They just got through touring with The Agony Scene, Emmure and Born Of Osiris. They are currently touring Europe with August Burns Red and Emmure and the next US and Canada tour has been billed with As I Lay Dying.

Recording
Misery Signals has been recording since 2003 with their self titled EP. in 2004, with the help of Devin Townsend, Misery Signals released their first full length album titled "Of Malice and the Magnum Heart". This album featured the popular song "The Year Summer Ended In June" which was redone from their EP. "Mirrors" which featured their new singer Karl, was released summer of 2006. "Mirrors" featured a more heavy aspect than "Of Malice". "Controller" is set to release July 22, 2008. Misery Signals has posted a brand new song on their Myspace from their new upcoming album which can be heard at www.myspace.com/miserysignals, along with Parallels, the second song they've posted.

I Killed the Prom Queen Diskografia

I Killed the Prom Queen

I Killed the Prom Queen is a metalcore band from Adelaide, South Australia.

The band toured in the USA with Caliban, Evergreen Terrace, It Dies Today and Lamb Of God along with Silverstein and Bleeding Through. I Killed The Prom Queen's most recent, and last, record, Music for The Recently Deceased (released July 31, 2006), was produced by Swedish producer Fredrik Nordstrom, who former credits include Dimmu Borgir, Darkest Hour, At the Gates and In Flames. The record has been described as a display of Australian metal/metalcore, merging with the so-called "Gothenburg sound". Blunt Magazine's reviewer James Cotterell gave the record 10/10.

In 2006, vocalist Michael Crafter was kicked out of the band. He later joined Carpathian, and then for a brief time joined US band Bury Your Dead. His final recording with I Killed the Prom Queen was the "Your Past Comes Back to Haunt You" EP. Although he had recorded the vocals for Music for the Recently Deceased, it was decided that the vocal contributions would be taken off the unreleased album and replaced by those of a new vocalist. Ed Butcher from British band The Hunt For Ida Wave was recruited and added his own lyrics, although many of the tracks remained similar to the original lyrics. After this the band took on a slightly different sound.

On January 31, 2007 Ed Butcher flew back to his home town in the UK. In a statement released later by the band it was announced that he was homesick and that he was no longer a part of the group. Butcher has since joined UK band Eternal Lord.

Tyrone from Mourning Tide temporarily filled the vocalist position during Japanese tour dates, and Colin Jeffs (of Bendigo band Heavens Lost) filled in on the European tour with the UK's Bring Me the Horizon. However, on April 7, 2007 I Killed the Prom Queen announced their break up, citing both an inability to find a new vocalist and guitarist following Jona Weinhofen's departure for Orange County metalcore band Bleeding Through.
